Happy belated birthday to Ashley!
Ashley turned 32 on Friday, the 12th November 2010. That was the reason why I'm updating this website with new information / videos / content. But that's not the only thing to celebrate: We recently hit the 2,000,000 website views. That's so fantastic. Thanks to all of you. SOMETHING BORROWED & MARGIN CALL
This summer, Ashley shot two back-to-back films in New York City.
1.“SOMETHING BORROWED” a big Warner Brothers romantic comedy starring Kate Hudson, John Krasinski, and Ginnifer Goodwin.
2. “MARGIN CALL” an independent film about the financial crash starring Kevin Spacey, Paul Bettany, Jeremy Irons, Zachary Quinto, Penn Badgley, Simon Baker, Mary McDonnell, Demi Moore, and Stanley Tucci.

SAINT OF CIRCUMSTANCE
Ashley is shooting a new dramatic pilot called "SAINT OF CIRCUMSTANCE" for Fox Television. It stars Ashley and David Denman (The Office). Zach Braff (Scrubs and Garden State) is directing the pilot. It is about a group of paramedics. She's shooting it right now through the 16th of March. News on whether it will air on tv or not will be forthcoming in June.

ABC "SNOW" SEQUEL

Making it legal did not get picked up by ABC. Ashley is shooting now 8 episodes of a new series for Lifetime Television called "SIDE ORDER OF LIFE". Updates are in the video section.

NEWS NEWS NEWS
Ashley will be guest starring on LAW AND ORDER: SVU on next Tuesday
the 20th of February on NBC. The episode is called "HAYSTACK" and will
be downloadable on iTunes before too long. It airs in the US at 10pm
EST and PST, and 9pm Central time. Ashley's pilot for TBS that she shot in the fall is NOT going to be picked up as a series. It was called IMPERFECT UNION and Ashley was the star, but TBS decided not to turn it into a new show. This morning Ashley booked a new pilot. It's called "LAWDOGS" and it is a single-camera half-hour comedy produced for ABC Television Network. She is the female lead on the show. It's a comedy about a wacky team of young lawyers working on cases together. She will shoot it in March.

Ashley's episode of the hit comedy "PSYCH" will air on Friday night,

The episode is called "Forget Me Not". Her Television Movie of the Nora Roberts novel "MONTANA SKY" will air on Lifetime Television on Monday, February 5th. Ashley plays opposite John Corbet (Aidan from SEX IN THE CITY, and the groom in MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING). It's been a busy and entertaining fall for me, and it's only October! Right now I'm looking out my office window at a steady rain and trees just starting to turn. As much as I love spring and summer, I can't resist the dramatic colors of autumn. We haven't had a hard frost yet, so I've still got impatiens blooming away, but I think they're time's nearly up for this year. Last month I spent a couple of days in Calgary
on the set where the Lifetime movie adaptation of my book Montana Sky was being shot. What a gorgeous spot. I'm thrilled that my Mercy Ranch will be ringed by the magestic, snow-laced Rockies. The first day we were there, the mountains stood against a pure blue sky, as if they'd been etched on them. Besides the scenery, which was impressive enough, I got a first-hand look at how much work and creativity go into the making of a movie. It's a small city behind the scenes--a village of trailers, trucks, equipment, people. Such fun for me to see how much everyone
enjoyed the work, how dedicated they were to making the film. Icing on the cake was meeting the crew, and the cast. Hanging out with John Corbett was some pretty delicious icing! It was a huge bonus to meet the legendary Diane Ladd, to talk with the delightful Ashley Williams (who has the best and most infectious laugh), to watch Charlotte Ross break out in an impromptu and very impressive tap dance between takes. I honestly couldn't have enjoyed myself more, or been more impressed with everyone involved in the film. As yet another bonus, I'll have cameos in all four Lifetime Movies. We shot my cameo for Montana Sky live, and shot green screen scenes for Carolina Moon, Blue Smoke and Angels Fall. Costumes, directors, lights, staging! What a hoot! I wish I could describe them for you, but I can't give any hints. We plan to hold a Find Nora sweepstakes
for the movies, so be sure to watch Lifetime every Monday in February--and see if you can spot me. |

NEW TV PILOT
Ashley will start shooting another Television pilot for a new comedy series called "IMPERFECT UNION" next week. It is executive produced by Eric McCormack (who played Will on "WILL & GRACE"). It also stars Zachary Levi ("LESS THAN PERFECT"), George Wendt (Norm from "CHEERS") and Beverly D'Angelo (the "VACATION" movies, and "ENTOURAGE"). It will film in December. By February, the TBS network will decide if they want to turn it into a full television series.

Happy Birthday to Ashley Williams...she turns 28 today. Ashley is in New York this week, shooting one episode of the NBC television series "LAW AND ORDER: SPECIAL VICTIMS UNIT". The episode will air in the US sometime in the New Year.

Ashley is back in Los Angeles
Ashley is back in Los Angeles after finishing up her play in New York
for the summer. Last week she shot one episode of the new hit USA television series called "PSYCH".She just got a puppy dog (9-week-old) and named him Phillip. Kimberly Williams-Paisley (Ashley's sister) is in the new family movie "How to eat fried worms" that opens this weekend in the United States.

Ashley will be appear in "BURLEIGH GRIMES"
Ashley will be performing in an Off-Broadway play in New York City this summer. It's called "BURLEIGH GRIMES" and will be performed from May 23rd through August 15th. Actress Wendy Malick (from the tv show "JUST SHOOT ME") will also be starring in it. Second season of "HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER"
"HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER" will have a second season on CBS. Ashey's series
"HUFF" starts airing on Showtime on April 2nd but she's not in the first five episodes. They added Kim Cattrall from "Sex in the City" to th cast of Ashley's tv pilot, HIM AND US.

Ashley Williams on Television
Ashley will appear in a new tv series called "HIM AND US" and the show is executive produced by (and loosely based on) Sir Elton John. It will shoot in April, and if ABC likes the pilot, the show could be on ABC next fall, of 2006. Ashley will be a series regular on the show if it makes it onto television.

Ashley in "How I met your mother"
Ashley was cast Friday in a huge new hit comedy television show on the CBS network called "How I met your mother" (look it up at pro.imdb.com/title/tt0460649/ ). She will join the show for six episodes, playing "Victoria" a new love interest for series' star Ted (played by Josh Radnor). The show also stars Allison Hanigan (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, American Pie movies) and Neil Patrick Harris (Doogie Howser M.D.). The episodes will start airing in January.

Ashley will be appear in “MONK”, “E-Ring” and “HUFF”
Ashley played a murderous bride on a TV show called “MONK” on the USA for one episode in August and she’ll played a wife of a solider on the NBC show “E-Ring” which is produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. The Show is about the Pentagon. And Ashley will play a recurring character on a Showtime Television Show called “Huff” with the Emmy-Award nominated show stars Hank Azaria, Blythe Danner and Angelica Huston.
